Whenever I walk past an empty old house, I like to close my eyes and imagine who lived in there years and years ago. I get goosebumps just thinking if anything or anyone would reveal themselves from the past late at night. Would I sleep in there if someone dared me to? My nonna and nonno lived in an old little house. My nonna was a wonderful cook making fabulous homemade melt-in -your-mouth pasta. My nonno had a large thriving veggie garden which was used to make scrumptious pasta sauce. My mum and dad too were fabulous pasta makers and gardeners! So, I thought, what if I wrote a story about a little old house that had a thriving vegie garden used for making pasta sauce many, many years ago. But that little old house now stands eerily empty and one night a young character accepts a dare to sleep over inside it…
